Description
“Outer Limits” is the second full-length album by Salem UK, a hard rock and heavy metal band originating from the UK.
The album is inspired by Hull Fair, a historical event in the band’s hometown that dates back to 1279 and is the largest travelling fair in Europe. Each track on “Outer Limits” draws from the carnival theme, with many named after rides from the fair, weaving the spirit of the event throughout the album.
Musically speaking, the band brings 40 years of Heavy Metal experience to the modern days, back with a fully active line-up and their own blend of Metal/Rock/NWOBHM converging into the final result of “Outer Limits”. This album will represent the second release for Salem UK under this monicker: their
beginnings can be dated to the golden era of NWOBHM during the early 80s, while the debut album featuring founding members Adrian Jenkinson and Simon Saxby was released in 2019.
