Recorded at Manhattan’s Hi-Five Studios and mixed from the original 16-track tapes by Prof. Stoned, this 14-track set has never been heard—until now. Every song is previously unreleased, including early 80s concert staples like “Laura’s In The Lion’s Den,” “Don’t Say Forever,” and “I Wanna Be A Rocker.” Featuring Annie Golden—who would go on to Broadway stages, Cheers, and Orange Is The New Black—at her vocal peak, this is The Shirts post-Capitol, post-compromise—reclaiming their sound, their stage, and their story.
This album is a time capsule of CBGB-era power and artistic defiance. Includes collectible obi-strip and 12-page booklet with notes and ephemera of the era.
