Trhä is the most enigmatic and visionary creation of Damian Ojeda, an American homebody known for his project Sadness. Trhä navigates the depths of atmospheric black metal, dark ambient, and ethereal sounds, creating a bridge to an imaginary world called Endlhetonëg.
The album “lact’eben”, released in early 2025, represents one of the brightest and most acclaimed moments in the project’s recent discography. The first few minutes immediately establish the mood: a frenetic blast beat accompanied by incredibly catchy, “bright” synth melodies puts the focus on another side of Trhä’s music, far from the Raw Black Metal first (and most notable) records.
