Description
Formed initially, in 2012, when they were just a bunch of cheeky teenagers, Halberd quickly rose up the ranks in their local scene, building a name for themselves with their explosive live shows. They received a myriad of acclaim, culminating in them reaching the final of the London Metal 2 The Masses competition.
In 2020 Halberd returned to the studio and started the process of writing, rehearsing and recording and is now proud to say that they are stronger than ever. Even the difficulties presented by the global pandemic did nothing to dissuade their drive and will power to succeed.
Staggering out of the wretched cess-pit that is South East London, Halberd are a group of five, no-good miscreants who love nothing more than playing heavy music, partying harder than anyone and tearing up any stage that they can get on! Their first show was in a little town called Sidcup where they played their hearts out to their friends and family underneath a train bridge.
In the year 2022, Halberd exploded in their local scene with their debut album ‘Parasitic Humanity’. Shortly after they put together a collaboration track featuring more than 15 bands from the scene ‘Legion In Arms’. A song made to unite the London underground. Making themselves known for being very loud and in your face characters they have built an extremely strong fanbase all over London and continue to grow. The axe has arrived and is ready to tear up a venue near you!
