THE LET’S GO’S have been the spearhead of Japanese girl’s punk/rock’n’roll bands and have completed
their latest album, which contains all of their dynamic energy. The band boasts a 16‐year career, but the
current members have proven to be the strongest lineup yet. Their recent 7″ EP released last year was
almost sold out as soon as it was released, so this release is sure to be a delight for their fans.
This is their first full‐length album in three years after their fantastic LP “Heibon Cherry” on Soundflat
Records, and it is called “KILL BY POP”. Take that! LET’S GO’S Pop Bomb!
The album is infused with the essence and emotions of the three colorful and brilliant members, ranging
from punk, power pop, and R&B to the cutting edge of the past and the present. The three members
have injected their essence and emotions into a parade of colorful and sparkling pop numbers. In
addition to the new songs, “Frontier”, a LET’S GO’S‐classic, plus “In My Head” and “Ring Ring Ring”, two
songs from their latest 7‐inch EP can be found on the record. The album also includes a cover of SHONEN KNIFE’s classic “Girl’s Rock,” which interpreted respectfully in their unique, lighthearted way.
This is a masterpiece that will strike a chord with music fans of all ages, all gender, regardless of genre,
and colorfully enhance their moods and daily lives.
