Description

GERMAN BLUESROCK BAND PEE WEE BLUESGANG: The next reissue!”Cool Man’s Burning” from 1985 available for the first time on CD!

In 1977 guitarist Thomas Hesse started the blues rock group PEE WEE BLUESGANG, back then with Reiner Hänsch on the microphone. Richard Hagel has been a singer and frontman since the second album, and since then the two have been leading the exceptional blues rock formation through times, no matter how difficult or easy they are. The pound with which the Iserlohn blues rock band has been growing for forty years can be tied to these two people: Thomas Hesse, exceptional guitarist and Richard Hagel, certainly one of the best blues rock tubes on the continent. On their way they have gathered a considerable number of fans along the way, their audience is now spanning generations.

After setting a bold musical exclamation mark with “Red Socks” in 1982, the Iserlohners went to the Jovel studio in Münster in 1985 to record a new album. The band line-up had changed in two positions. Stefan Janke now pressed the keys, while Friedbert Falke had taken the place behind the push train. The change in staff changed little in terms of the musical direction, Thomas Hesse had again written all the songs in the tried and tested Maier (only “Maybe Baby” was written by Richard Hagel). The band went on a rapid ride through blues, blues rock and west coast realms and took no prisoners. A great album that increased the band’s popularity.
