Watershape play progressive music influenced both by progressive rock (King Crimson, Genesis, Gentle Giant, …) and progressive metal (Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation, Opeth, …) very close to the concept of artist such as Steven Wilson and Porcupine Tree. In 2020 the new album “You are not” is ready to be released, representing a big step forward in developing the style of the band by adding several elements to the compositions.
